About Yanna
Yanna has joined our team as a nursing student in August 2022. She is currently working towards her Bachelors Degree in Nursing at California State Long Beach, where she has consistently placed on the Dean’s Honor List every semester. She plans to obtain her Clinical Doctorate of Nursing Practice after graduating with her BSN. She is an active member of the California Nursing Student Association. At CNSA, she performs medical volunteer work, beach clean-ups, mentoring other nursing students, and keeps well informed about the nursing profession's scope of practice and legislature. She wishes to pursue a career in Critical Care and Aesthetic Nursing.
Her interest in the medical field started in high school where she volunteered at Kaiser Permanente for 2 years, and became a certified Emergency Medical Responder. During her employment with us as a Patient Coordinator/Nursing Student Worker, she completed her certification in becoming a ZO Core Specialist and completed several Allergan and ZO clinical courses. After graduation, she plans to work part time at Pure Luxe Medical.
Outside of work and school, she enjoys weightlifting, reading, and hanging out with her two mini poodles, family, and friends. Yanna is a front desk extraordinaire who cares for each of our patients with respect and compassion!
